Looking through the London Eye

Posted by Luna (Osaka, Japan) on 19 December 2008 in Lifestyle & Culture.

For winter break, I went to the UK for a few weeks. The weekend before Christmas, I went with a special someone to check out London for my very first time.

On the first day, we rode the London Eye, a giant ferris wheel that takes 40-minutes for one "flight" as they called it. Tickets are a bit expensive at around 17GBP for one person, but because the weather was clear and so beautiful that morning (which is a rarity sometimes, so I'm told) it was definitely worth the ride.

People can't ride by themselves, but luckily it wasn't that crowded inside the capsule. A really fun experience!
