Heraldry on the windowPosted by Luna (Osaka, Japan) on 2 January 2008 in Architecture. Taken in Edinburgh Castle in Edinburgh, Scotland, United Kingdom. I remember when I was in elementary school, we had something like a bit of a medieval/renaissance faire in our cafeteria.. and we had to make our own designs for our coat of arms and such. Just staring at this window brought back all those memories. I also remember having great interest in heraldry when I was around 10-11 years old, looking up the meanings of symbols and images and what they meant on coat of arms and such.. snippet about this photoblog This photoblog is mostly to cover my experiences and adventures on the JET Programme as an Osaka City ALT (Assistant Language Teacher) through photographs, from beginning to end.
