Himeji-jo ahoyPosted by Luna (Osaka, Japan) on 29 August 2007 in Landscape & Rural. The beautiful and gorgeous Himeji-jo, a Japanese National Cultural Treasure, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site, and one of Japan's three castles (they have a list of three for many things, like three gardens, three treasure, three views of Japan, etc.) The castle grounds themselves are full of twists and turns and is quite maze-like - but once you enter the castle itself, there's only one way, and that's to go up and see the magnificent view of Himeji from the top floor. snippet about this photoblog This photoblog is mostly to cover my experiences and adventures on the JET Programme as an Osaka City ALT (Assistant Language Teacher) through photographs, from beginning to end.
