San-thing at Shijo-dori

Posted by Luna (Osaka, Japan) on 11 August 2007 in Architecture and Portfolio.

This was going to be a pun - until I realized that I think I was on Shijo-dori, a street that also goes through Gion, the district of Kyoto that's famous for geisha and maiko.

But since I can't say "(San)jo" anymore, I'll just point it out - there are three layers in this photo here.. the sky, the land where the people and buildings reside, and the river. Can't really say much more than that, but that I really liked this photo.
